Happy Birthday Pat!

Today is my step-mother's birthday... so, I made her a cake.

I must say, it was delicous! It was a sour cream pound cake with buttercream and fondant.

And no, I didn't use the cupcake pan that's out right now. It was really fun to do. Christian "helped." She made all the purple sprinkles!

And then proceeded to beg everyone for their sprinkles once the cake was served!

That cake is absolutely adorable! I bet she loved it. I forgot to tell you earlier - Happy Birthday. Did you get the dyson?

Very nice! Do you have any pictures of it next to anyone so we can see the size in reference to something normal? It looks huge, but I'm guessing it's much bigger than I can imagine!

Thanks Crystal! Nope, didn't get it. I have almost enough cash to buy it, but may be looking at something else...

Rachel, I didn't. That might actually make some sense, huh? The cherry was the size of a golfball, if that helps, and the purple cake board was 8" across. I guess it was about the size of a volleyball, maybe. Roughly.
